We welcome Sarah McCoy, author of The Baker’s Daughter and Jael McHenry, author of The Kitchen Daughter to the shop for this very special signing. Sarah and Jael will be reading excerpts from their novels, and signing copies of their books.
As food and baking is at the heart of both of these stories, we will be sharing a selection of treats for our attendees to enjoy. We hope you can join us!

Please join us for a wonderful evening, and get a peek into the imagined world of sleight, an interdisciplinary art form that combines elements of dance, architecture, acrobatics, and spoken word. Join us in welcoming local author David L. Mitchell. He will be in shop promoting his series that promotes literacy and fun for children. He is the author and illustration of the Concept First Book Primers; It’s Funny You”ll See From A 2 Z, A Fun Cool And Colorful Read, and Counting Nifty From One To Fifty. Mitchell is also the author of several published columns and social commentary editorials. He was educated and lives in Norristown, PA.

We welcome Jeremy Wallach and Paul D. Greene, editors of a new collection of essays on heavy metal around the world, “Metal Rules the Globe.” This collection of engaging and insightful essays explores the identity and meaning behind heavy metal scenes that thrive in cultures around the world. Jeremy Wallach is an anthropologist and associate professor in the Bowling Green State University Department of Popular Culture. Paul D. Greene is an Associate Professor of Ethnomusicology and Integrative Arts at Pennsylvania State University’s Brandywine Campus.
