For those who are wed, about to be wed, or just enjoy being a fly on the wall (or wedding crasher)… join us for our book signing featuring 365 Days Until:  The Journey to Our Wedding by Alex and Ahesha Catalano.   The Catalanos documented their trials and tribulations leading to wedded bliss, and now you can read this very intimate  encounter.   Books are now available in the shop!

“Swedes of the Delaware Valley” Book Discussion & Signing

Join us for a fascinating discussion about the role of early Swedes in the Delaware Valley.  Marge Thorell, a Swedish American, will share this little known history with you and sign the copies of her book, Swedes of the Delaware Valley.  Books will be available for purchase the day of the event.

We welcome Jeremy Wallach and Paul D. Greene, editors of a new collection of essays on heavy metal around the world, “Metal Rules the Globe.”  This collection of engaging and insightful essays explores the identity and meaning behind heavy metal scenes that thrive in cultures around the world.  Jeremy Wallach is an anthropologist and associate professor in the Bowling Green State University Department of Popular Culture.  Paul D. Greene is an Associate Professor of Ethnomusicology and Integrative Arts at Pennsylvania State University’s Brandywine Campus.
