The Spiral Bookcase is happy to bring you a special story time this Saturday in Pretzel Park from 1030am-11am : held during the wonderfully new and delicious Farmers’ Market*. Storyteller Amanda will be reading a selection of great kids’ books and leading a sing a long. We will be setting up in Pretzel Park on a comfy quilt. Bring a blanket, grab something good to eat, and join us! We hope to see you there! (This will be the first of many!)
Directly following the readings is a free kids’ dance lesson with Christa from Merge Dance Studio. What could be more fun?!

For the next First Friday in Manayunk, join us for an opening reception featuring the stunning and gorgeous photography of Jason Heritage. Jason is a local artist and just exhibited his work at the Manayunk Arts Festival. Jason’s art will be available for purchase in the shop during the month of July.
Bio: Jason Heritage is a landscape & panoramic photographer based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His passion for outdoor photography and the National Parks was sparked during a post college graduation road trip across southwestern United States.
Today, Jason maps out photography trips around the country, working toward his goal to visit all of the national parks.
