Arcadia Salon

For this special March Salon, three students from the Arcadia University MFA program in creative writing present their stories and poems.

Introducing Maddie Weinland, Nick Gregorio, & Shauna-Maria Andolina

Nick Gregorio lives, writes, and teaches in Philadelphia.  He holds a BA in English Literature and an M.Ed from Chestnut Hill College.  He is currently enrolled in Arcadia University’s MFA in Creative Writing program, plays in two area punk rock bands, and harbors a rather intense predilection for print media.

Shauna-Maria Andolina was born and raised in State College, PA where she earned her bachelor’s degree at Penn State, University Park. She is currently an Arcadia University Master of Fine Arts student in the Creative Writing, where she studies poetry. She is also a Graduate Assistant and a certified athletic coach in the Lower Merion School District and coach for Arcadia’s Cheerleading team. Shauna-Maria is very excited to share her writings that are influenced by family and previous academic studies.

Maddie Weinland got her BA in English and History from Denison University before getting her MA in English from Arcadia University. She is originally from Cleveland, Ohio and often sets her fiction in the midwest. When she’s not writing, she works in the psychology department at The College of New Jersey.

Special guest Daniel DiFranco will be providing the music for the evening.
