Plan B Press is a small independent publishing company that primarily produces high-quality, limited-run poetry chapbooks. The Press encourages, captures, presents and preserves contemporary poetry by publishing and presenting emerging poets. Find out more here: Plan B Press
Michael Gushue runs the micro-press Beothuk Books and is co-founder of Poetry Mutual/Vrzhu Press. His work has appeared online and in print, most recently at Beltway Poetry Quarterly and in The Midwest Quarterly. His most recent chapbook is “Pachinko Mouth” from Plan B Press. He lives in the Brookland neighborhood of Washington, DC.
Michele Belluomini’s poetry has been published in many journals, most recently, APIARY and The FoxChase Review online. Her poems have appeared in a number of anthologies. She has read in many venues throughout the area, most recently for the Monday Poets Series at the Free Library of Philadelphia and at Moonstone Arts Center. The chapbook, Crazy Mary & Others, was a winner in the Plan B Press chapbook competition. Her most recent volume of poetry is Signposts for Sleepwalkers, also published by Plan B Press (Alexandria, VA). She works as Adjunct Library Faculty at Community College of Philadelphia.
Dan Collins is proud to be part of the Plan B Press family. His chapbook “Of Go and Why” was published by Plan B in 2007. Dan is also an award-winning documentary filmmaker, and well-traveled performing musician. Born in Maine, he relocated to Ithaca, New York in 1993 and was co-founder of the grassroots poetry collective Compassionately Stoneground Books, which published 17 anthologies of work from emerging poets, following founder Randy Ahart’s mission to “manually insert himself into the history of literature”. In 2001, Dan relocated to Philadelphia, where he currently resides.
Blaine Martin grew up in Quakertown, Pennsylvania where he began writing poetry as a means of dealing with the angst of growing up amidst cornfields and ex-girlfriends. He went on to get his BA in English and Philosophy from DeSales University where he received the Excellence in Creative Writing award in his senior year. Blaine received his MFA in Poetry from Carlow University. His final manuscript, A Letter to Charles Atlas, was awarded the honor of Pass with Distinction. Blaine now lives in Media, Pennsylvania where he works in the technology sector and writes poetry. His poems have appeared in Shaking Like a Mountain, Girls with Glasses, Words Apart, and APIARY. Blaine’s first chapbook, A Whole Armada of Loss, is available through Plan B Press.
