We will be celebrating Indies First – a new bookstore initiative that asks local authors to become a bookseller-for-a-day at their local bookshops. An exciting opportunity to mingle with great authors, get top-notch recommendations, and start stockpiling for the holidays. (See schedule below.)

10am-12pm :Andrew Ervin - a phenomenal writer,critic & reader, author of Extraordinary Renditions, and the forth-coming Burning Down George Orwell’s House. 
12pm-2pm: The Head and The Hand Press TAKEOVER!
Founder & Author Nic Esposito & Author Wint Huskey will be in the shop. THTH is a local Philly press that celebrates innovative authors and community supported publishing.
2pm-4pm: Marie-Helene Bertino – author of staff favorite : Safe as Houses and the newly minted 2a.m. at the Cat’s Pajama’s ( a perfect Xmas gift ) & Ted Dodson – a poet from Brooklyn and editor of the original and inventive Futurepoem.

4pm-6pm: Josh Isard – author of the brash and witty Conquistador of the Useless, & mentor of up-and-coming authors as director of the MFA Program in Creative Writing at Arcadia University.
