On Thurs, Nov 8th, we welcome local author Caroline Ludovici. She will be promoting her new young adult book, The Obsidian Mask. An adventure story set on a hot, middle-eastern, archaeological dig. This kid-friendly event will even feature a class on how to write in ancient cuneiform. Join us for this wonderful event!
Bio: Caroline was born and raised in central London and from an early age has had a keen interest in ancient history, archaeology and hot desolate places. As soon as she was able, she would take off from her city life and visit ancient archaeological sites in the far reaches of the world, soaking up the true history and culture of different lands and it’s peoples. Her love of writing started early too, but because of a lifetime struggle with spelling, it was only since the wonders of spell check that she has felt confident enough to share this love for adventure, history and archaeology through her exciting fictional stories. The Obsidian Mask is the first book in a series for young teens that will spark the imagination of anyone with a taste for adventure, travel and history, and is followed by the sequel, Secrets of The River.
